Everyone that has a spirit enveloped in
flesh is a medium. Mediumship has many degrees of manifestion. There
are mediums that are auditory, some that are mechanical, some perceptive, some visual, and then we have the trance mediums.

Development of ones’ mediumship is individual,
those that work little at extending their mediumship develop their
faculties at a slower pace, whereas those that do more labor in their
cause will see growth in their spiritual abilities.
